## Who this policy is for

This **Customer Privacy Policy** applies if you are a **client of a salon or service business** that uses Greeta Voice—for example, you **called** the business, **texted** with their AI assistant, or **booked an appointment** through Greeta Voice on their behalf.

## Introduction

Greeta Voice provides automated phone and messaging services **on behalf of participating businesses** (such as hair salons and barber shops). We help schedule, confirm, reschedule, or cancel appointments and related customer service communications.

This policy explains how we may collect, use, and share information about **you** in that role.

The **participating business** is the **data controller** for your appointment and contact information. Greeta Voice processes information exclusively as a **service provider / data processor** on the business's behalf and according to its instructions.

## Information we may collect

When you interact with a business using Greeta Voice, we may collect:

- **Name** (first name or full name you provide)  
- **Phone number**  
- **Appointment details** (date, time, service, staff)  
- **Information you provide during a phone call** with the AI assistant  
- **SMS message content** related to your appointment (when SMS is used)  
- **Call transcripts** generated to operate the service  
- **Call audio recordings** only if the **participating business has enabled** call recording in their settings  

We do not intentionally collect payment card data from you through Greeta Voice call flows for salon services—that remains between you and the salon.

## How we use information

We use information to:

- Schedule, confirm, reschedule, or cancel appointments on the business's behalf  
- Send appointment-related phone or SMS communications on the business's behalf  
- Respond to your inquiries during automated interactions  
- Operate and secure the Greeta Voice platform  
- Comply with legal obligations  

We **do not sell or rent** your personal information or mobile phone number.

We **do not** use your identifiable call content, transcripts, or recordings to train AI models (ours or third-party).

We may use **strictly anonymized and aggregated** operational metrics (e.g. call volume, booking success rates) that cannot reasonably identify you, solely to maintain and improve platform reliability and security—not for marketing to you.

## Automated assistant and call recording

- You may interact with an **automated AI assistant**, not a live human, unless the call is transferred to the business.  
- Appointment handling is automated processing performed **on the business's instructions**; contact the **salon** if you wish to speak with a person or question a booking decision.  
- If the business has **enabled call recording**, you may be told the call may be recorded. If you do not agree where required by law, you may hang up.  
- If recording is **disabled**, we do not store call audio; we may still process your voice **in real time** to handle the call and may keep **transcripts** and appointment records as described below.

**Not an emergency service:** Greeta Voice is **not** for emergencies. Call **911** or local emergency services.

## SMS program

Businesses may send appointment-related SMS through Greeta Voice, such as:

- Confirmations, reminders, updates, rescheduling, or cancellation notices  

**Message frequency varies.** Message and data rates may apply.

**Consent:** You may provide verbal consent during a booking call to receive appointment-related SMS. Consent to receive texts is **not a condition of purchase** of salon services.

**Opt out:** Reply **STOP** to stop SMS from that program.  
**Help:** Reply **HELP** or contact the salon or legal@greetavoice.com.

Mobile opt-in and consent data are **not sold** or shared for third-party marketing.

## How we share information

We may share information:

- **With the participating business** that serves you (the data controller)  
- **With service providers (subprocessors)** that help us operate—such as telephony (e.g., Twilio), cloud hosting, AI voice processing (e.g., xAI), and secure storage—**only** as needed to provide the service and under contractual obligations consistent with our [Business Privacy Policy](https://greetavoice.com/privacy)  
- **When required by law**  

We do not sell or rent personal information for marketing.

## Retention

Retention depends on the participating business's use of Greeta Voice and our Business Privacy Policy schedules. Generally:

- Call **audio** (if recorded): up to **90 days**  
- **Transcripts** and appointment records: up to **12 months** (or as needed for the business account)  
- When a business closes its Greeta Voice account, End Customer Data is **deleted or anonymized within approximately 90 days**, subject to legal retention requirements  

You may contact the **salon first** to request access or deletion of your appointment information. You may also contact legal@greetavoice.com and we will respond as required by law and coordinate with the business where appropriate.

## Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No system is perfectly secure.

## Children

Our services are not directed to children under **18**. We do not knowingly collect children's information. If a parent books on behalf of a minor, the **participating business** is responsible for that relationship.

## Changes

We may update this policy by posting a new date. Material changes may be communicated as required by law.
